Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using the Storydor platform. By continuing to use the platform, you fully agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using the Storydor platform, you agree to these terms of service in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please stop using the platform. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, notifying users by email.
2. Description of service
Storydor is an Algerian digital platform that connects creators and visual professionals with institutions and companies. It allows creators to showcase their work and apply to projects, and institutions to publish projects and select the right talent. The platform is a technical intermediary only, and is not a party to any contract entered into between a creator and an institution.
3. User accounts
You must reside in Algeria or hold Algerian nationality to create an account. Users agree to provide accurate and truthful information when registering. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and for all activity carried out through your account. Storydor reserves the right to suspend or delete any account that violates these terms.
4. Content and intellectual property
Creators retain their intellectual property rights over all work they upload. By publishing on Storydor, you grant the platform a non-exclusive license to display your work to visitors and institutions. Institutions may not use creators' work outside the scope of contracts entered into through the platform. Any abusive content, or content that violates Algerian law, will be removed immediately.
5. Payments and commissions
Payments between institutions and creators happen directly between the two parties, outside the platform. Storydor never takes a commission on transactions — the creator receives the full agreed amount. Storydor earns revenue solely from user subscriptions. The platform documents payments through digital contracts, but bears no responsibility for the financial execution between the parties.
6. Prohibited content
Users are prohibited from publishing content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, contains violence, hate speech, or pornographic material, or any content that violates applicable Algerian law. Using the platform for any fraudulent or misleading activity is also prohibited.
7. Disclaimer
Storydor provides its services "as is", without any express or implied warranties. The platform bears no responsibility for any direct or indirect losses resulting from use of the service, or for any disputes arising between creators and institutions.
8. Changes and termination
Storydor reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time, with 30 days' prior notice. Users may terminate their account at any time from the settings page. Upon termination, the intellectual property and disclaimer clauses remain in effect.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Algerian law. Any dispute arising from use of the platform shall be referred to the competent courts of Algiers.
