Community Policy
The Storydor community
Storydor was built around a simple idea: Algerian creators deserve a real chance to work and be recognized on the basis of their talent.
But opportunities alone aren't enough. The success of any community rests on trust, honesty, and mutual respect.
This page isn't a set of rigid rules, but the principles we believe in and expect every Storydor user to follow, whether they're a creator or an institution.
Who are the members of the Storydor community?
Creators
Directors, photographers, editors, screenwriters, graphic designers, content creators, and anyone offering creative work who wants to turn their talent into a professional opportunity.
Institutions
Companies, agencies, channels, government bodies, associations, and any organization looking for creators to bring their projects to life.
On Storydor, every user builds their own professional reputation. A reputation that's built through commitment, and lost quickly through misuse.
What we expect from you
Be honest
Provide accurate information about yourself or your institution. Don't claim work you didn't do, and don't claim skills you don't have. Trust is the foundation of every successful collaboration.
Honor your commitments
If you agree to take on a project, follow through on what was agreed. Unexpected circumstances can arise, but early, transparent communication with the other party is part of being professional.
Respect the other party
Respect and professional communication are the foundation of any successful working relationship between an institution and a creator. We don't tolerate insults, threats, or any behavior that creates an unsafe environment.
Respect intellectual property
Only share work you have the right to use or publish. Don't use other people's work, logos, images, or files without permission. We respect creativity, and we expect every member of the community to respect others' rights as well.
Use the platform responsibly
We recommend handling as much of the collaboration and communication as possible through Storydor, since it helps document agreements and makes it easier for our support team to review any dispute that may arise later.
What we don't accept
We won't tolerate any behavior that harms the community or undermines users' trust, including:
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating individuals or institutions.
- Fraud or attempting to deceive any party.
- Publishing stolen or copied content without permission.
- Sending spam or repetitive messages.
- Threats, blackmail, harassment, or bullying.
- Hate speech or discrimination based on gender, origin, wilaya, dialect, belief, or any other reason.
- Using the platform for any activity that violates the law.
This may lead to the account being restricted, suspended, or permanently closed, following a review of the situation by the Storydor team.
Reviews
After a collaboration ends, each party can review their experience with the other. We ask that reviews be:
- Honest.
- Objective.
- Based on a real experience.
The review system must never be used for abuse, retaliation, or misleading purposes. Reviews help institutions choose the right creators, and help creators build a strong professional reputation.
If a disagreement arises
We know that disagreements can happen in any professional collaboration. If you run into a problem, you can contact the Storydor team and request a review of the situation. We'll look into every case based on the available information and evidence, and work to reach a fair, impartial decision in line with the platform's policies.
Our commitment to the community
Just as we expect our users to uphold these principles, we commit ourselves to:
- Protecting users' privacy.
- Treating everyone fairly and impartially.
- Continuously improving the platform.
- Providing a professional, safe environment for collaboration.
- Listening to community feedback and working to improve the experience.
A final word
Storydor is still just getting started. But its real success is built every day, by the creators and institutions who trust it.
Every project published, every successful collaboration, and every honest review helps build a professional community that creators and institutions across Algeria can be proud of.
Thank you for being part of Storydor.
